Ventilation in Offices in the Covid-19 Era

Wednesday 23 Sept | 1pm – 2pm | Webinar | FREE

Is it possible to make offices safer without increasing energy cost and carbon emissions? There are no easy solutions to these questions but this webinar with Arup will explore what is seen to be best practice when dealing with the issues. This webinar is the first in our Green Performance Solutions Webinar Series for managing commercial and multifamily buildings. BOOK HERE

Whole Life Carbon Approach

Friday 25 Sept | 9am – 11.30am | Online Workshop | IGBC Members only

Buildings’ construction and operations account for 39% of energy-related CO2 emissions globally. While the 28% of global emissions from operational emissions in buildings is being tackled, the 11% related to other life cycle emissions from the sector (product manufacture, construction etc.), is rising. In this context, the IGBC is organising a high-level workshop to identify which actions are needed this year, but also within 5 or 10 years to fully decarbonise our built environment across its life cycle. This is a members-only event. This event is supported by the Environmental Protection Agency BOOK HERE
