CREST  is the Centre for Renewable Energy & Sustainable Technologies in Enniskillen. This educational facility for South West College, which doubles as a teaching model of sustainable construction for the local building sector, won the Sustainability Award at the RSUA Design Awards 2016.

The awards’ judges said, “CREST achieved its sustainability brief through adopting innovative design and construction principles to meet all three demanding standards of Passive House Certified, BREEAM Excellent and Zero Carbon. As such it acts as a demonstration building for the construction industry providing a sustainable, environmentally friendly, attractive and inspiring learning and working environment.”

The tour of the building, which will be led by Paul McAlister of Paul McAlister Architects.. The tour will be followed by lunch and a general meeting for the members of the RSUA .  To reserve a place on this tour please contact Jeanette Hedley at [email protected] or 028 9032 3760 no later than 5pm on Friday 23rd September 2016. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Free parking available on site.
