Take a tour in Teach Sprúis-Dublin Terraced House constructed from Cross Laminate Timber.
Across the world, cross-laminated timber (CLT) is making its mark as the innovative engineered wood product of the future. To date Ireland has been slow on the uptake of CLT. Teach Sprúis is an exciting example of what is possible in an urban infill site. The CLT spruce panels and glulam beams are factory made by gluing layers of timber together and once erected on site are wrapped in insulation and exterior finishes to create an airtight passive house standard construction.
Please bring PPE (hard had and high vis vest) as this is still a live construction site.
