As part of World Green Building Week, Hibernia is hosting a breakfast discussion to delve into the net zero carbon journey of an office asset – 1 Cumberland Place.
Built in the 1970s, the building went through a deep retrofit in 2015, maintaining much of the existing fabric of the building, and improving the BER significantly. In 2022, in partnership with the occupiers, an innovative energy efficiency project was rolled out, driving further energy reductions.
The speakers will discuss where 1 Cumberland Place now sits in its net zero carbon journey, looking at embodied carbon saved during the refurbishment, operational emissions versus industry benchmarks and sustainable finance requirements before looking at options to further decarbonise the building.
