As part of World Green Building Week (WGBW), the Irish Green Building Council (IGBC) invites you to an exclusive guided tour of The Observatory, located in the Windmill Quarter, organised in collaboration with Hibernia.
Discover how thoughtful refurbishment can significantly enhance a building’s environmental performance while preserving its architectural integrity. This landmark project achieved major embodied carbon savings compared to equivalent new construction, resulting in an electrified, Grade A office space featuring enhanced biodiversity and wellbeing elements.
The tour will be hosted by IGBC and led by Paul Martin (Senior Development Manager) at Hibernia, alongside Hannah O’Keeffe (Sustainability Executive) at Hibernia, Patrick Kavanagh (Engineering Director) at BDP and Andrew Howley (Associate Director) at MCA Architects, who will share their expertise in sustainable refurbishment and innovative building solutions.
