This document is part of a series of fact sheets being developed by the IGBC on the transposition of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) Recast 2024 (Directive (EU) 2024/1275) into Irish law. A workshop on the implementation of Article 9.1 – Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) in Non-Residential Buildings was held in September 2024. The report is available here. The IGBC will be hosting similar workshops focusing on other articles in 2025 and 2026 to support this process.
