urope’s cities are declaring climate emergencies. Build Upon² helps cities lead the charge towards net zero carbon by 2050 by unlocking the huge potential of buildings – developing strategies and solutions to scale up energy efficient building renovation.
In Ireland, the Irish Green Building Council works in close cooperation with Dublin City Council, and three “follower” local authorities, Carlow, Cork and Kilkenny.
“National Readiness Report: Ireland” contains the key outcomes of the workshop organised on Thursday, 14th May 2020 whose objective was to gather feedback on the third draft version of the Framework for national renovation strategies and to discuss actions required to support its implementation.
