In association with Meehan Green, the IGBC is providing LEED GA Exam Prep training.
Why do this training?
- A LEED Green Associate credential demonstrates your expertise in sustainable design, construction, and operations standards.
- LEED GA training equips professionals with the knowledge necessary to participate in LEED-certified projects.
- Knowledge of LEED certification is increasingly needed to meet project requirements.
- With the increasing focus on sustainability in the built environment, there is a growing demand for professionals who have expertise in LEED certification
What this training will cover:
- The LEED rating systems and its application in sustainable building design and construction
- The LEED credits under each category and the LEED certification process
- The criteria for achieving points in each LEED GA credit category are site selection, water efficiency, energy performance, materials selection, indoor environmental quality, and innovation
- How to optimize LEED project performance in the Irish context
- Understand the LEED GA Exam format and structure and the steps needed to register

Meet your tutor
Eliza Mauro
Eliza is a Senior Sustainability Consultant specialized in multiple types of certifications such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), WELL Certification and the Irish HPI (Home Performance Index). She has been working on the certification of projects since 2011, acting in different parts of the globe, including Ireland, England, Scotland, Brazil, Mexico, and Kenya. Eliza has worked as a volunteer with the U.S. Green Building Council, participating on the Design and Construction Consensus Committee for the development of the LEED v5.
Each session will be recorded, and participants will have 60 days of access to the recordings.
