  • Session 1 – 90 minutes of videos to be viewed from Monday 2nd of March until Wednesday 4th of March

There is no homework for the HPI General Training.

Training will be based on the HPI Version 3.1

Training will only be provided if a minimum of 9 people sign up for the HPI General and a minimum of 5 people sign up for the HPI Assessor 

The Home Performance Index (HPI) is Ireland’s first national quality and sustainability assessment system for new housing. The HPI is based on five verifiable categories: Environment, Economic, Health and Wellbeing, Quality Assurance and Sustainable Location.

Being a Certified HPI Assessor allows you to advise clients and submit assessments for HPI, Ireland’s first national quality and sustainability assessment system for new housing.

Training Programme

The training comprises the following aspects.

1.      Review materials provided in advance of the training

2.     3no. 30 minutes interactive webinars of Home Performance Index for HPI General. For HPI Assessors an additional 2.5hour interactive webinar.

3.     For HPI Assessors completion of practical assessment based on a set of evidence provided.

1.  REVIEW OF TRAINING MATERIALS AND VIDEOS

Training materials, manuals and tools are provided on the Monday for review before the Thursday session.

3. Homework Assignment 

Homework Assignment – HPI Assessors Only

Trainees are provided with an assignment to assess a home based on evidence provided for the different indicators. They need to submit the assessment spreadsheet and report within 4 weeks. On successful completion, they will be awarded accreditation.
