Join us for a lunchtime CPD on the Home Performance Index (HPI). This event is eligible for 1 hour structured CPD through RIAI CPD links. This briefing is open to Architects and other construction professionals.
The HPI is Ireland’s first sustainability and assessment system for New residential development covering both apartments and housing. It has been developed by the Irish Green Building Council in consultation with the construction industry. It provides a quality mark for new housing offering a marketing advantage to developers. It also offers a simple means to social housing providers to assess the quality of part 5 housing provided by developers. It is supported by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Enterprise programme and developed in association with UCD. The system offers architects the means to measure and benchmark their designs for daylighting, location, water efficency, and universal design.
