Construct Innovate, Innovation

All IGBC members are invited to join us on Tuesday, 17th January for a Q&A session with the directors of the new Construction Technology Centre-Construct Innovate.

Have all your questions answered regarding signing up, the benefits and more.

Construct Innovate, Ireland’s National Research Centre for Construction Technology and Innovation was launched by then Tanaiste, now Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. The centre is a partnership between the University of Galway, Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, and University College Cork, with IGBC as the consortium industry partner. The centre has been tasked with accelerating innovation in construction and the built environment. Membership of Construct Innovate is open to all construction and built-environment stakeholders, and its research programme will be driven by working groups formed by its members.

And this is where you come in…

Current IGBC members can avail of Associate Membership of Construct Innovate at no extra charge, a potential saving of up to €2,500.

As an Associate Member, you could

  • define the most urgent industry research needs to help drive innovation in construction
  • support efforts to get our industry to localise and adopt innovations developed elsewhere
  • tap into resources to boost your organisation’s digital and innovation skills
  • actively participate in working groups leveraging your sectoral or professional expertise

This is an exciting opportunity for your organisation to shape research, access unique testing facilities, learn about new skills and technology, and contribute to more sustainable and productive construction and built environment technology and skills. You will be supported and empowered to take ownership of the research, development and innovation activities needed for your organisation’s continued progression, excellence and impact.

Join us on our Q&A session to find out all you need to sign up and make the best use of your news associate membership.

You can view more information on the Construct Innovate website (www.constructinnovate.ie) but to avail of your complimentary membership, please get in touch with Tom O’Sullivan at tom@igbc.ie
