What can we learn from delivering Passivhaus at scale?

Join us during World Green Building Week 2026 at Whitehaven, a completed Passivhaus development by Tuath Housing, to explore the practical experience of delivering high-performance, energy-efficient homes and the lessons emerging from their post-occupancy evaluation.

The session will look beyond design and certification to explore how the development is performing in operation and what residents are experiencing in their homes.

From design to lived experience

Whitehaven brings together a number of approaches to sustainable housing, including:

  • Passivhaus certification
  • Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)
  • High-performance building fabric and energy efficiency
  • Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE)
  • Resident feedback and operational performance insights

The event will explore how these approaches can contribute to lower energy consumption and carbon emissions, while supporting improved comfort and wellbeing for residents.
