Join Catalyst, in partnership with the Irish Green Building Council (IGBC), for an engaging Lunch & Learn exploring how building certification schemes can help organisations demonstrate the real value of sustainability.

As sustainability moves beyond compliance, organisations are increasingly being asked to show how environmental performance influences asset value, investment decisions and long-term risk. Certification schemes such as BREEAM, LEED and Home Performance Index (HPI) provide trusted frameworks that help future-proof buildings, improve performance and respond to evolving market and regulatory expectations.

This interactive learning session will explore the role each certification plays across different asset types, highlighting how they can support better decision-making while reducing stranded asset risk and strengthening investor and occupier confidence.

This is an educational session designed to encourage discussion, knowledge sharing and networking – it is not a sales presentation.

What You’ll Learn

During this session, we’ll explore:

  • The differences between BREEAM, LEED and HPI certification schemes.
  • How certification can demonstrate value beyond ESG reporting.
  • The role of certification in managing asset value and reducing long-term risk.
  • How certification supports investor, occupier and regulatory expectations.
  • Practical insights into choosing the most appropriate certification for different project types.
  • Current trends shaping sustainable buildings and future-proofing assets.
