Delivering Quality Building – Free Industry Briefing

QualiBuild is pleased to invite you to a free industry briefing for designers/specifiers and builders on the afternoon before the Self Build show in Cork. There will be a networking session with light refreshments at the start of the programme, presentations and discussion from 5-5:30 pm and 20 minutes for Q&A following.

The topic is “Delivering Quality Building” with information from Michael Hanratty of IHER Energy Services, Simon Jones of Aereco, and Mark Higgins of the Green Build Centre.

To deliver a quality project, that is healthy, comfortable and energy efficient, the project first needs to be designed right. Michael Hanratty will discuss the importance of this step, and also share details about what can go wrong if this step is missed. Mark Higgins of the Green Build Centre will discuss how building it right is the critical partner to designing it right. Components such as insulation and airtightness will be presented. Simon Jones will show how a ventilation system is vital in modern building, be it natural or mechanical ventilation.

Attendees can also avail of a free ticket to the Self Build show the following day and Sunday.
