The next Healthy Homes Ireland Forum will take place on Wednesday 3 December 2025, 10:00-12:00, at the European Commission Representation in Ireland, Europe House, 5 Balfe Street, Dublin 2. Registration is at 9:30am, when tea/coffee and pastries will be served.
The Forum will focus on how Ireland balances the urgent need to build more affordable homes at pace against achieving greener and healthier homes. The event will be opened by our Chair, Susan Vickers. We will then have a remote presentation from Matthew Baldwin, Head of the European Commission’s Housing Task Force, on the upcoming European Affordable Housing Plan in the context of the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, with an opportunity to ask questions. There will follow a panel discussion featuring Eamon Ryan, former Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications and Chair of the European Commission’s Housing Advisory Board, John O’Connor, former Chair of the Housing Commission, and Ali Grehan, Chair of the Irish Green Building Council and Dublin City Architect.
There are a limited number of places remaining, so if you would like to attend, please RSVP to [email protected] as soon as possible.
