The Irish Green Building Council (IGBC) invites members to a focused workshop exploring operational energy use in commercial buildings.

As the need to reduce carbon emissions intensifies, improving energy performance across Ireland’s commercial real estate sector has never been more critical. This session will highlight the latest developments, drivers, and opportunities to advance energy efficiency and examine how IGBC and its members can collaborate to accelerate change.


Objectives

Participants will:

  • Hear from expert speakers on the latest developments and drivers of energy efficiency in commercial buildings
  • Discuss how to overcome barriers and identify key enablers for change
  • Help define the tools, data, and benchmarking needs of building owners and operators
  • Explore the potential to establish a Community of Practice focused on operational energy efficiency
