Area of Work
Studio Red Architects was formed by Gráinne Dunne and Nicola Ryan in 2008. They place utmost importance on sustainable, sensitive and project-specific design. They provide flexible spaces with emphasis on long-term use, healthy construction materials and accessibility for all. They promote the use of renewable energy, low carbon materials and innovative building products and techniques. They aim to create space for biodiversity within the built environment.
Their work extends beyond the office to include partaking in exhibitions and think tanks; collaborations with intellectual disability service providers; and guest lecturing at TUD School of Architecture.
