30th March 2020 by Irene_igbc

We are delighted to announce that Kilsaran has published two new Environmental Product Declarations under our programme, EPD Ireland:

  • Kilsaran Paving Products (EPDIE 20-18)
  • Kilsaran M4 Masonry Mortar (EPDIE 20-19)

The first EPD presents the results for 3 Paving Products:

– Newgrange Paving Block 80mm Silver Granite
– Clima Pave 60mm Curragh Gold
– Corrib Paving Block 60mm Black Granite

The constituent raw materials of the paving products are EN 197 cements, gravel, sands, water, pigments and admixtures for mixing and efflorescence prevention.

The second EPD covers a bulk mortar product, M4 Masonry Mortar. The constituent raw materials of the bulk dry mortar are: EN 197 cements, sands, and admixtures for thickening and hardening.

The two EPDs had also been registered on ECO Platform, the organisation of the European EPD programme operators’ website and it’s now visible to specifiers across Europe.
