Decarbonisation and Nature in the Built Environment: The Role of Finance and Disclosure

The CDP Ireland Network, in partnership with the Irish Green Building Council (IGBC), is pleased to invite you to join us for a discussion on the role of finance and disclosure in advancing decarbonisation and nature-positive outcomes across the built environment.

As sustainability expectations continue to evolve, organisations across the property, construction and finance sectors are navigating new opportunities and challenges associated with climate action, biodiversity, and transparent disclosure. This event will explore how these themes are shaping strategy, investment decisions and reporting practices.

Event Details

Date: 16th September
Time: 10:00am – 11:30am

About the Event

The panel will explore the global and Irish context for decarbonisation and nature in the built environment, including developments in sustainable building standards, renovation, biodiversity considerations and the evolving role of disclosure.

The discussion will also examine why nature-related issues are becoming increasingly important in financial decision-making and how organisations can leverage disclosure to support transparency, resilience and long-term value creation.

We look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be an insightful discussion and an excellent opportunity to connect with peers from across the sustainability, finance and built environment communities.
