The façade profiles (without glass) are fabricated and prepared at the AMS factory site. Aluminium profiles are painted, cut to size, and fitted with thermal break materials, gaskets, and accessories. The raw materials comprise, by weight percentage: aluminium profile (73-79), PVC/foam/EPDM (16-21), hardware (1-2), powder coat (2), silicone (5). Profiles are then packaged in light plastic bubble wrap packaging for dispatch to the customer, where facades are assembled and the requisite double or triple glazed unit is fitted.
