Area of Work
Hibernia owns and develops property. All of their portfolio is in Dublin and they specialise in city centre offices. They use their knowledge and experience of the Dublin property market, together with modest levels of leverage, to upgrade buildings or deliver new ones at appropriate times in the property cycle and to grow income through active asset management. Their portfolio is mainly a mix of redeveloped properties held for income and assets held for future repositioning. Where possible, they seek to own clusters of office assets to enhance the facilities and amenities they can provide occupiers.
Hibernia have had a strong focus on ESG excellence for a number of years and currently have 6 LEED BD+C certified buildings (including 1 and 2 Cumberland Place and 1 and 2 WML and 1SJRQ) and 8 WELL Health Safety Rated offices. Their Sustainability Statement of Intent, launched in 2021, is a 30 year strategy focussed on reaching net zero carbon, ensuring climate resilience, creating positive social impact and providing spaces with excellence in environmental protection as well as health and wellbeing for occupiers.
