The European Commission’s DG Energy has recently launched a public consultation regarding the review of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). The aim is to evaluate whether the Directive has met its aims, and to explore issues in relation to the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings initiative as well as how the Directive relates to other areas of energy policy.
