This course is designed to help participants understand the public policy that is actually driving the creation of EU green building law and the problems that it is trying to solve. There will be discussion about the main, current, and upcoming EU green buildings law. It should be noted that this course does not give a comprehensive overview of all of EU green building law, but looks at some of the most important provisions in the most important laws. Finally, the course closes with an overview of the future direction for EU green building law.
The session will be relevant for architects, engineers, contractors, policy makers, local and national government, facility owners and managers, and other participants working in the built environment.
