
Construct Innovate, Ireland’s construction technology centre was launched by the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar TD on the 9th of December.
The Irish Green Building Council (IGBC), along with four other partners – University of Galway, Trinity College, University College Dublin and University of Cork, have created Construct Innovate to position Ireland as the world’s leader of research and innovation in sustainable construction and the built environment technology.
The membership is now open and all IGBC members can now opt-in to become a member of Construct Innovate for FREE! Simply email [email protected] to request membership.
If you are not already a member of the Irish Green Building Council you can join now and avail of Associate Membership of Construct Innovate at no extra charge, a potential saving of up to €2,500.
As an Associate Member, you could
- define the most urgent industry research needs to help drive innovation in construction
- support efforts to get our industry to localise and adopt innovations developed elsewhere
- tap into resources to boost your organisation’s digital and innovation skills
- actively participate in working groups leveraging your sectoral or professional expertise

Over the past five years the members, industry partners, and over 300 expert researchers across 23 disciplines have collaborated on various projects that accelerate important national initiatives like “Housing for All”, National Development Plan 2021-2030 and the Climate Action Plan.
The Irish Green Building Council provides industry expertise and input through its vast membership base. The members can now sign up to become Construct Innovate members for free. Anyone who signs up will be able to benefit from the expert researchers to participate in projects and the creation of green initiatives, products and services.
