Smith Demolition is a specialist demolition and hazardous waste disposal contractor offering a professional service to a wide and diverse clientele. As a demolition specialist they are experienced and fully equipped to carry out a broad spectrum of demolition works ranging from the demolition of low level to high rise structures and general site clearance. Smith Demolition also provides a removal and disposal service for hazardous materials containing asbestos, lead or other toxic elements, chemicals and contaminated soils. The primary aim within all company operations is sustainability and to contribute towards the circular economy.
As part of our environmental commitment:
- They are Certified to ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System.
- They provide and consult with their clients in regard to the provision of Sustainable Plans, Waste Management Plans and Construction and Environmental Management Plans for works to be carried out.
- Their contribution to sustainable and green building is reinforced by management and upkeep of their memberships of the Irish Demolition Contractors Association, the European Decontamination Institute and the Irish Green Building Council.
- Smith Demolition operates a policy of ensuring that as much waste is diverted away from landfill through segregation and recycling / re-use on contracts throughout all of their company operations.
