The Foundation Energy Skills course focuses Quality and Efficiency of new construction and retrofitting practices and challenges the way building construction workers work, process and understand the end goal. The aim is to demonstrate how to carry out good construction and develop higher expectations in quality and workmanship (i.e. what is acceptable work).
This course enables participants to understand how to improve quality control and raise awareness on the benefits of quality low-energy buildings. It will also include a specific task focused on improving communications and engagement between professionals (architects, engineers etc.), builders, craft workers, trades and clients.
