What do SME’s need to know, to be prepared for 2025?
Times are changing, particularly in the commercial sector for premises – large and small. As we take greater steps towards making our building stock more sustainable, renovation Policy and Legislation on the EU and National levels are upgraded. But what is most relevant for companies to keep an eye out for, what are the trends in the commercial sector and how do you prepare?
Our speakers:
Adrian Joyce, Renovate Europe will be discussing the coming changes in Renovation Policy and Legislation for commercial buildings on the EU level and how these changes will affect Ireland
Philip Lee, Solicitor will then speak on the new changes to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) that will be recast in December 2022 & what the impact on commercial properties may be
Eamon Sheils, SEAI will introduce new commercial retrofit initiatives to ease the transition
John Bynum, ARUP will discuss what is changing in commercial renovation in practice
This webinar is part of ENACT, a 3-year initiative, tasked with ‘enabling national action on commercial renovation’. It is SEAI funded. Led by the Irish Green Building Council, we are excited to partner with NUI Galway, Sustainability Works, Dublin Chambers of Commerce and the Society for Chartered Surveyors of Ireland on this. If you want to be involved, please get in touch with Mary Teehan, Programme Manager.
