
To celebrate National Biodiversity Week, The Irish Green Building Council is delighted to invite its members to the first meeting of the “Biodiversity & the Built Environment” Community of Practice. The objective of this new Community of Practice (CoP) is to share and promote discussion on trends in Biodiversity & the Built Environment, as well as to share information on the challenges you are facing and how they can be overcome. - Dr Una Fitzpatrick, Senior Ecologist at National Biodiversity Data Centre – Keynote
Building upon the recent webinar series on Biodiversity & the Built Environment, a factsheet on this topic will be launched by Minister Noonan T.D. on the day.
The presentations will be followed by a group discussion on topics that we want to cover this year as part of the community of practice, and a tour of the biodiversity features of the building.
