Explore IPUT’s Transformation of a 1990s Building into a Net Zero Office Development
Join us as IPUT showcases the transformation of 25 North Wall Quay, setting a new benchmark for sustainability. This project exemplifies how a 1990s building is being reimagined into a world-class, Net Zero Carbon office by retaining and reusing existing materials.
As IPUT’s first NZC office building, 25 North Wall Quay is a model of low-carbon design and energy efficiency. This transformation is part of IPUT’s responsible investment strategy and aligns with their 2030 pathway to achieving net zero carbon.
Key Highlights:
- 60% reduction in potential embodied carbon
- 100% renewable electricity procured and generated on-site to power the building
- Use of clean technology during construction to minimise site emissions
- An all-electric strategy with heating, cooling, and hot water provided by heat pumps
The building, which is still under development, is targeting top sustainability certifications, including LEED Platinum and WELL Gold.
