Our EPD Campaign keeps gathering supporters: in March, Marlet , Helena McElmeel and Long Life Structures joined the commitment.
The property group, the architectural practice and the timber frame company committed to promote and request the use of EPDs on all their projects. The companies will raise awareness among their staff, architects, contractors and sub-contractors to encourage the demand and incentivise more manufacturers to produce EPDs in Ireland.
Pat Crean, Marlet CEO said: “ The IGBC’s EPDs commitment campaign is proving essential to raise awareness among the industry. I believe now it is our responsibility, as a property developer, to lead the way, support and guide our contractors and partners, and help transform our built environment to a carbon-neutral sector”
The campaign has now reached 33 signatories: Hines, IPUT, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Dublin City Council, Meehan Green, Wain Morehead Architects, COADY Architects, Hammerson, BDP, SISK, RKD, KSN, Lower Carbon Ltd, KRA, Scott Tallon Walker Architects, Arup, Arcadis, Cundall, i3PT , JWPW, Merriman Solutions, P.B.C.
