The “Build Up Skills Advisor” app has been designed to enable building professionals and construction workers to identify energy renovation training courses that truly suit their needs. The app is available on Android and Apple mobile phones.
What is Build Up Skills Advisor for?
Build Up Skills Advisor allows you to select your profession and the specific area in which you would like to gain new skills in a few clicks. Based on your profile and needs, you will then see a list of all relevant courses currently available in Ireland.
How do I get Build Up Skills Advisor?
You can easily download the app on your mobile phone or tablet, depending on your operative systems, through the following links:
The app is free and there is no need to register your data.
How to use Build Up Skills Advisor?
Once downloaded, click on the icon of the app and open it. You will see an introduction tour explaining how to use all the setting and features. There is no need to register if you do not want to. But if you register and save information on your background, preferences and courses completed, the app will recommend courses that are more tailored to your needs. When registering, you can also opt-in to receive notifications when new courses suiting your profile become available.
To access the Irish version of the app, click on the dropdown menu on the top right of the homepage and choose the Irish flag. Then, select your sector (scrolling down the list), and the job title that best reflects your current position. Once you have completed these 2 steps, you can visualize the full list of energy renovation related topics available to upskill in.
Select the topic you are interested in, to see all relevant courses currently available in Ireland. You can then choose the one that fits your purpose and get more information directly from the education provider’s page.
