The mission of Irish Green Building Council is to lead the Irish construction industry in the transition to a sustainable built environment. IGBC is fully inclusive and encourages all organisations involved in the construction and property sector to join our network no matter where they are on their sustainability journey.
Membership indicates a commitment to start on the path to achieve net zero carbon emissions and comply with the principles of sustainable development. The IGBC member logo only represents participation in the Irish Green Building Council and does not imply any endorsement of a member’s green or sustainability credentials. It is not the aim of IGBC to accredit the sustainability of its members but to encourage them to collaborate and engage with each other and support them to move towards sustainability.
The partnership levels of Gold and Platinum are for larger organisations who see the strategic benefits of the work of IGBC and want to provide a great level of financial support. It also enables them to access higher benefits and discounts on some of IGBC’s services. These levels do not suggest a level of sustainability achieved by these organisations.
