Sustainability Certification of Urban Areas conference videos now online

International conference on Certified Urban areas

The Swedish Green Building Council held a major conference on the  Sustainabilty Certification of Urban areas in Malmo on the 16th September last. The videos of the conference are now online and give the most up to date developments of different area tools been used including BREEAM Communities, Green Star Communities and LEED Neighbourhoods. This also includes discussion on the potential for international co-operation on the benchmarking of sustainable areas. It looks at the use of area rating rather than the rating of individual buidings.
